Browser and device requirements

What FireDash needs to run properly, and the first things to check when a page misbehaves.

FireDash runs in the browser and on iOS and Android. The requirements are modest, but a very old browser will cause strange behavior rather than a clean error.

Web

  • A current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox. Keep it updated.
  • JavaScript and cookies must be enabled — sign-in cannot work without cookies.
  • Maps need a reasonable connection; on a weak link they may load slowly or partially.
  • Pop-up blockers can interfere with PDF previews and Stripe checkout — allow pop-ups for firedash.us if a payment or preview window never appears.

Mobile

Networks

Department and corporate networks sometimes block third-party domains. If maps, payments, or fonts fail to load on a work network but work on a phone, ask IT to allow firedash.us and its subdomains.

First things to try

  • Hard-refresh the page, then sign out and back in.
  • Try a private window — that rules out an extension.
  • Try another browser or your phone; if it works there, the problem is local.
  • Check status.firedash.us before assuming it is you.
