Common FireDash app alerts

Session Expired, Update Available, Maintenance Mode, and feature limit messages explained.

The FireDash mobile app shows a few standard alerts. None of them mean data loss — here is what each one wants from you.

The alerts

  • “Session Expired” — your sign-in ended or was ended by an administrator. Sign in again.
  • “Update Available” — a newer version exists; some updates are required before you can continue. Update from the App Store or Google Play.
  • “Maintenance Mode” — FireDash is briefly down for maintenance. Try again in a few moments, and check system status if it lingers.
  • “Feature Limit Reached” — your organization hit a subscription limit for that feature; a manager can review the plan in the Subscription module.
  • “Feature Unavailable” — the feature is not included in your current subscription level.
  • “Device Not Authorized” — see its dedicated article.

Hydrants added while using Offline Mode are saved on the device and tagged “Added while Offline” in their comments.
