Every issued Home Inventory Report has a number like INS-1234-A. Anyone you share it with can confirm the report is genuine — no account needed.
How to verify
- Go to verify.firedash.us and enter the report number, or scan the QR code on the PDF.
- In the apps, the Verify a certificate tile does the same lookup — see Verify a certificate in the Insured app.
What a result means
- Authentic — FireDash issued this number, for this person and property, with these item counts and totals, on this date. A short security code lets you match it to the PDF.
- Revoked — the report was issued but the owner has since revoked it; treat it as no longer valid.
- Not found — no such report number.
Verification confirms FireDash issued the report with those totals on that date. It does not certify that the homeowner’s self-reported values were independently appraised — the PDF states this plainly.
